Eyelit Announces Record Third-Quarter Growth and Profit from its Manufacturing Execution (MES) and Quality Management (QMS) Software

Eyelit’s record quarter was fueled by a 60% increase in software license revenue

March 15, 2016 3:07 PM Eastern Daylight Time
TORONTO—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Eyelit Inc., a manufacturing software provider for visibility, control, and coordination of manufacturing operations for the aerospace & defense, discrete electronics, life sciences, medical device, semiconductor, and photovoltaic (solar) industries, announced today record growth in revenue for the third quarter of 2015, with a substantial increase particularly in its software license revenue.

Business Results

In the third quarter of 2015, revenues from software licenses grew by over 60%, and customer support revenue was 40% higher in comparison to the third quarter of 2014. Key business areas that contributed to the increase in revenue were the sales of software licenses to Eyelit’s new customers in the aerospace and defense industry, and the rollout of Eyelit MES to multiple sites by its enterprise customers. This marks the fifth straight quarter of revenue growth, and follows the record-setting results in the second quarter of 2015. Overall, profit rose by more than 50% for the quarter.

“We have achieved another consecutive record-setting quarter. This is also the second year in a row of setting a new marker for the highest, third-quarter revenue in Eyelit’s history,” stated Dan Estrada, Eyelit’s Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. “Since the success of this quarter was the result of software sales and new business, it bodes well for future growth in services and support revenue. We also expect a significant boost in revenue over the next several quarters from follow-on business with our large corporate customers. Our continued success is attributed to a growing number of Fortune 500 companies in our customer base, which establishes a solid foundation for our future expansion in target markets.”

The conference will bring together Eyelit customers from all over the world and deliver key announcements on new products. The conference will be held June 7–9, 2016 at the Resort at Squaw Creek in Lake Tahoe, California. Updates regarding the agenda will be posted on Eyelit’s conference website.
