TORONTO—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Eyelit Inc., a manufacturing software provider for visibility, control, and coordination of manufacturing operations for the electronics, life sciences, and semiconductor industries, announces the addition of Interactive Image Map™ module to eyelit Intelligence™ for improved visualization and management of production assets and supply chain information.
The new Interactive Image Map™ plugs into the Eyelit framework and allows Eyelit customers to use an image file (JPEG, GIF, PNG, etc.) and enable that image within the Eyelit application suite to become an interactive image for data collection, transactions, and real-time performance reporting. Interactive Image Map™ not only provides real-time visualization within Eyelit’s Executive Dashboard™, but also is truly interactive, supporting drill-down and may also act as a user interface for shop-floor transactions where image-driven transactions are required.
Already in production at several customer sites, Eyelit’s Interactive Image Map™ provides a more intuitive interface and a “bird’s eye view” of production assets, supporting lean manufacturing initiatives, and can be used in a variety of ways with the Eyelit Manufacturing Suite™. Some of the ways in which Eyelit’s Interactive Image Map™ is being used are:
- Wafer Map: Allows users to view,
interact, and conduct MES transactions with a variety
of wafer maps, provides easy-to-display view
into multi-level tracking structures for die-level
transaction and data collection, as well as allows view of
previous wafer maps (Probe, Saw, etc). Supports
reversed and inverted wafer maps out of the box
with zero custom code.
- Assembly Maps: Allows users to
view, interact, and conduct MES transactions directly
with assembly drawing, such as a PC board and assembly
unit (PC, storage device, etc.). Users can consume
components, record defects, record data collections, and
view instructions, all by interacting with the
map.
- Facilities Map: Allows users to
view, interact, and conduct MES and Asset Management
transactions directly within Eyelit’s Executive
Dashboard™. Supports lean initiatives, providing
real-time visibility into bottlenecks, kanban levels,
KPIs, and status of production assets.
Interactive Image Map™ module also works with the PROMIS™ MES from Brooks Automation in conjunction with Eyelit’s Classic Solutions™ suite.
"Eyelit continues to deliver innovative solutions that set the industry benchmark, lowering the cost and the time required to deploy manufacturing solutions. The Interactive Image Map™ can be deployed quickly (one to two weeks) with ZERO customer code or need for expensive consultants as with most solutions available in the market today. You can start with a high-level, global, or multi-site graphic, check order status for example and quickly drill down to site-specific, lot-level data collection with a few clicks. Executives now have tools at their fingertips to effectively manage their operations,” stated Salil Jain, CEO of Eyelit Inc.
